WSCJTC holds a variety of courses for those in the law enforcement, corrections, public safety and the criminal justice field. Many of these courses have prerequisites that must be met and may only be open to certain individuals. Click any course below for more information on availability and requirements.

WSCJTC Fee-Based Trainings Now Subject to Sales Tax

Effective October 1, 2025, the Washington State Department of Revenue has determined that WSCJTC’s fee-based trainings are subject to sales tax. The rate will vary based on the training location and will be added to course invoices. This applies to all students except those from the State of Washington government agencies.

Code 4 Northwest Conference: Strength to Service, Power in Wellness

WSCJTC is partnering with Code 4 Northwest to promote a wellness training opportunity for active and retired first responders in Washington.

The Code 4 Northwest Conference will be held Nov. 4-6, 2026, in Everett, Washington. The event will focus on first responder wellness, peer connection, and practical support for those who serve or have served in public safety roles.

Gender-Related Crimes Training

The Gender-Related Crimes program provides specialized training on stalking, human trafficking, and the impact of gender-based violence on marginalized and underserved populations. Our approach prioritizes victim-centered, trauma-informed principles. Through comprehensive training, we seek to equip law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to these complex, often violent crimes.

The program aims to strengthen victim support and safety, enhance investigative techniques, and ensure compliance with best practices in addressing gender-based violence. The program achieves its goals through expert-led instruction and a blend of case-based learning, legal frameworks, simulations, and investigative practices. The training courses are designed to help law enforcement personnel recognize patterns of abuse, understand the complexities of victim responses, and navigate the legal and procedural challenges they face, ultimately improving case outcomes.

THE FUNDAMENTALS OF STALKING 4001

Stalking is often missed or misunderstood, especially in its early stages. 

The Fundamentals of Stalking course is a focused 9-hour training designed to help law enforcement recognize stalking behaviors and patterns, understand victim impact, and respond effectively from the first point of contact.

Stalking often appears as a series of incidents that may not seem significant on their own but together form a pattern of behavior. Without the right framework, these cases can be easily overlooked or misclassified.

The training provides practical, trauma-informed tools that officers can apply immediately in the field to better recognize stalking and improve early responses.

  • Identify stalking behaviors and patterns
  • Differentiate stalking from harassment
  • Understand victim impact
