Entry-Level Deputy Sheriff

Salary $6,997 to $8,101. A deputy must demonstrate professional, ethical standards during a routine patrol, traffic enforcement, collision investigation, criminal investigation, report writing, and public relations. Will attend and graduate from Basic Law Enforcement Academy and annual training. 4 on/4 off 11-hr shift. Sick leave, vacation, medical, longevity. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, 21 years by hire date. No felony convictions. No gross misdemeanor/misdemeanor conviction for physical harm or controlled substances.
