Language Access Program Manager (Term-Limited Temporary/Special Duty Assignment)

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated project manager to lead our department-wide Language Access services project at the King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO). This role directly impacts our community by developing and implementing a Language Access Program (LAP), ensuring effective communication and access to KCSO services for everyone we serve. WORK LOCATION: While primarily based at the King County Courthouse in Seattle, or designated King County work location, flexibility is needed as per project requirements. WORK SCHEDULE: Expect a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events. Teleworking Requirement: The work associated with this position may be performed through a combination of telework and onsite. You will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. You must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance of your King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. You will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where you can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
