Pierce County Sheriff's Dept. is hiring both new entry and lateral Correction Deputies, approx. 60 Deputies needed. HIGHEST PAID CORRECTIONS IN WA STATE! $10K incentive for new entry and $25K for laterals, plus 80 hours sick leave & 80 hours of vacation for laterals. 2023 pay rate $34.43-44.60 and 2024 pay rate $35.81-46.38. Shift differential: swings $.40/hr & graves $.60/hr. Longevity after 14 years 2.5% and after 20 years 1.5%. Deferred compensation matched up to 2%. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, guild membership and retirement pension.

There is one opening with the Yakima County Department of Corrections. The Administrative Division Chief is directly responsible for professional leadership, technical administration, management coordination and direction of the Department's Training, Recruitment and Records Divisions. This position oversees the day-to-day operations within the Division, while dealing with confidential labor management issues. Oversees and supervises all employees assigned within those Divisions providing leadership and direction.

There is one position vacant in the Yakima County Department of Corrections. Under the direction of the Division Chief, the Corrections Lieutenant is responsible for planning, administering, organizing, controlling, coordinating, enforcing, auditing, monitoring, and evaluating all operations and activities within an assigned corrections facility or section and its relevant correctional programs. We are hiring both entry level and lateral Corrections Deputies. Salary range is $73,571.28 – 97,629.24 DOE. We offer, shift differential, longevity incentive up to 4%, 12 paid sick days, 12 paid holidays, 2 paid floaters, vacation accruals to include 3 weeks after just your 3rd, Full benefit packages plus a defined pension. You will also be allowed to bid to your days off, shift and post assignments.
