Entry-Level Corrections Deputy

Salary ranges from $6,087 to $7,048 per month, plus benefits. Enforce policies/procedures; prevent escapes; maintain order/discipline; escort to court, other appts.; provide security and supervision. Conduct preliminary inquiries into rules violations. Investigate complaints, excess noise, and the mentally ill; provide first aid for injury, illness, drug OD, and attempted suicide victims. Must be a U.S. citizen/lawful permanent resident, 21 years old by the hire date. No felony convictions. No gross misdemeanor/misdemeanor conviction for physical harm or controlled substances. Pass background, poly, psych eval. Valid WADL.
