Entry/Experienced/Lateral Police Officer

The City of Enumclaw will be establishing eligibility lists for entry level as well as lateral/experienced level police officers. The Department’s Patrol Officer is under the supervision of the Patrol Sergeant and the Operation Services Manager. Patrol Officer’s provide 7/24 response to all calls for service including both emergency and non-emergency reports of crime, criminal activity, and related incidents.

Lateral Police Officer

The mission for every member of the Camas Police Department is to consistently seek and find ways to affirmatively promote, preserve and deliver a feeling of security, safety and quality services to members of our community. The City of Camas has a population of approximately 26,000. The Camas Police Department currently has 30 commissioned officers. Some specialty assignments include: Detectives, School Resource Officer and Field Training Officer.

Police Officer - Lateral

The Milwaukie Police Department is a dedicated team comprised of 35 sworn officers and eight non-sworn staff. We serve a community of approximately 21,000, just south of Portland, along the banks of the Willamette River. Specialty assignments within our agency include Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Public Information Officer, K9 Handler, SWAT Team Member, Hostage Negotiations Team Member, School Resource Officer, Transit Police Officer, Motorcycle Traffic Enforcement Officer and Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Technician (CRAFT) Team Member.

School Resource Officer

We are accepting applications from motivated and enthusiastic certified Police Officers for the position of the Milwaukie Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO). This position receives a 5% base pay incentive. The SRO position is a four-year rotation with a chance to reapply for another four years. Once the 4-year rotation is complete, the officer will be assigned to the Patrol Division. This officer will be treated like any other lateral position and can apply for other assignments within the police department once eligible.

Lateral Police Officer

The Connell Civil Service Commission is currently seeking applications for a lateral police officer to establish an eligibility list. To be considered a lateral police officer, you must have successfully completed the WSCJTC Basic Law Enforcement Academy and hold a valid certificate or equivalent from another state. Applicants with a break in service or from out of state must be able to meet the criteria outlined in WAC 139.05.210. Salary for lateral officer is $30.55 - $36.48 hourly / $5,295.29 - $6,322.85 per month D.O.Q. (2024 contract).

School Resource Officer - Certified Lateral Entry
