Correction Officer - Entry Level and Lateral

Klickitat County Civil Service will be testing for the position of lateral and entry level Correction Officer to work for the Klickitat County Sheriff. Entry/Experienced/Lateral Communications Officer

The City of Enumclaw and the Enumclaw Police Department are establishing continuous eligibility lists for both entry level and lateral/experienced level candidates. The Enumclaw Police Department’s Corrections Officer position is under the supervision of the Corrections Supervisor (Sergeant) and the Support Services Division Commander. Correction Officers provide 24-hour security; monitoring, housing and care for inmates and those incarcerated by law enforcement and the City’s Municipal Court.

Police Support Officer

The City of Bothell has an opportunity for a Police Support Officer who will coordinate and perform prisoner transport/control duties on behalf of the Support Services Division of the Bothell Police Department (BPD). What will you do in this position? *Transport prisoners and other individuals. *Oversee the safety, security, and housekeeping of the BPD holding facility; inspect and clean transport vehicles. *Supervise prisoner behavior and promote acceptable conduct; physically restrain disruptive detainees as necessary.

Entry-Level Corrections Deputy

Salary ranges from $6,087 to $7,048 per month, plus benefits. Enforce policies/procedures; prevent escapes; maintain order/discipline; escort to court, other appts.; provide security and supervision. Conduct preliminary inquiries into rules violations. Investigate complaints, excess noise, and the mentally ill; provide first aid for injury, illness, drug OD, and attempted suicide victims. Must be a U.S. citizen/lawful permanent resident, 21 years old by the hire date. No felony convictions.
