Chief for a Day is a heartwarming community celebration where children facing significant medical challenges are sworn in as honorary Chiefs and Sheriffs for the day. Sponsored by Washington law enforcement agencies, each child is celebrated with an unforgettable day of ceremony, fun, and family-friendly activities. The event includes:

  • Swearing-in ceremony

  • Meet-and-greets with local law enforcement

  • Police vehicles and demonstrations

  • Photos, gifts, and special presentations
