WHO CAN ATTEND OUR CLASSES?
This academy is open to recruits who have been hired by a recognized Washington State detention facility whose primary job function is the care, custody, and safety of juvenile offenders.
REGULATION

Agencies wishing to cancel an applicant’s registration must notify the registrar via phone or email.
REQUIRED FORMS
To register an applicant for this Academy, agency-authorized personnel can submit a request via the WSCJTC Acadis Portal. The following attachments must be included:
- CJ-1251 Statement of Fitness
All forms are available for download below.
Submitting an incomplete registration request in the Acadis Portal is allowed, but it will not be processed until it is complete. Once registration requests are complete, they are processed into open seats on a first-registered/first-served basis.
DOCUMENTS
Course information will be emailed to training officers on selection day for each academy. Training officers are responsible for ensuring their applicants receive the information.
